General FAQs

What do you mean by Designated ECT, is it someone designated by management or someone with special skills/training in ECT. Also with regard to someone who just turns up at an approved centre whom is then assessed and felt to be in need of admission but declines admission, does commom law apply in holding the person until an application and recommendation is made under the act.
