Module 5: Consent to Treatment

How is consent to treatment docomented in regard to an involuntary patient who does consent to treatment i.e. how does the clinician prove that consent was obtained.

Services should have policies in place to in relation to how consent to treatment is documented.

 

A record of the interaction with the patient should be recorded in the patients file.
